Plugged in, but flashing red? Let’s check your phone connection and get Pocket ready to play.
Before you start
Connect your phone to Pocket’s left USB-C device port. The right port is for a charger.
📱 Left USB-C port → Your phone
⚡ Right USB-C port → A charger
Check your connection
-
Disconnect the cables. ❌
Unplug your phone and any charger from Pocket.
-
Connect your phone to the left port. 📲
With Pocket’s buttons facing you, plug your phone into the left USB-C device port.
-
Open Voicemod. 🤖
Make sure your phone has more than 15% battery. Open the Voicemod mobile app and allow any requested permissions.
-
Check the app. 👀
Look for the VMKey Pocket section in Voicemod.
Once Pocket and the app connect, the light should change from red and the VMKey Pocket section should be available.
Only the charger is connected?
A flashing red light is expected when a charger is connected to the right port without a phone on the left port.
Still blinking red?
Disconnect and reconnect the phone cable. Leave the charger unplugged while you test the phone connection. If the app still does not recognize Pocket, send us a short video of the light.
🌈 Not Blinking Red Anymore? Check Your LED Color!
Good news! 🎉 If your VMKey Pocket has stopped flashing red but is now showing a different color or light pattern, your connection status may have changed.
🔵 Flashing blue? ⚪ Fading white? 🌈 Rainbow lights?
Each LED pattern tells you something about your Pocket's connection status.
