Your Voicemod Key Pocket uses different LED colors and light patterns to show its current connection status.
Whether you're setting it up for the first time or troubleshooting a connection issue, here's your quick guide to understanding what those lights are telling you!
🌈 What does each LED color mean?
🔴 Flashing Red: Something's Not Connected Right!
Your VMKey Pocket isn't connected correctly.
This usually means there's an issue with how your device is connected to your phone.
What to do:
- Double-check that your phone is connected to the correct USB-C port.
- Disconnect and reconnect your cables.
- Make sure your phone recognizes your VMKey Pocket.

🔵 Flashing Blue: Almost There!
Your Pocket is connected correctly, but it hasn't established a connection with the Voicemod app yet.
Your hardware connection looks good! Now it's time to get the app connected.
What to do:
- Open the Voicemod mobile app.
- Make sure your VMKey Pocket is recognized by the app.
- Follow any connection prompts that appear.
⚪ Fading White in/out: App Connected, Headset Missing!
Your Pocket is successfully connected to the Voicemod app, but your headset isn't connected yet.
You're one step away from being ready!
What to do:
- Connect your compatible headset to your VMKey Pocket.
- Check that your headset is properly connected.
- Once everything is connected, the LED should display a solid color.
Solid Color: You're Good to Go!
Your VMKey Pocket is correctly connected to both the Voicemod app and your headset.
No connection issues here. You're all set to start changing your voice!
The LED can display different solid colors, including:
🔵 Light Blue | 🟢 Green | 🟡 Yellow | 🟠 Orange | 🟣 Purple | ⚪ White
If the light stays solid, your connections are ready to go! 🎉
🌈 Rainbow Effect: Connecting to the App!
Your VMKey Pocket is currently connecting or reconnecting to the Voicemod app.
Those colorful lights mean your Pocket is working on establishing its app connection.
What to do:
- Keep the Voicemod app open.
- Let your Pocket complete the connection process.
- If it doesn't connect, check that the app recognizes your device.
