This guide outlines the system requirements for installing and using Voicemod on both Windows (10 and 11) and macOS devices.
Windows Supported Operating Systems

Processor and RAM requirements
Important: Only x64 processors are supported. Voicemod will not work on 32-bit, ARM, ARM64, or ARM-based x64 chips.

*Note: AI Voices will not be available on systems lacking AVX2 support (processors older than 2013).
**Note: More than 8GB of RAM may be required if you plan to use Voicemod alongside games, streaming software, or Discord.
System requirements
- An internet connection – broadband wired or wireless (3G or 4G/LTE/5G) with the necessary permissions to allow your system to connect to our servers*.
*Note: these are the most common permit-related problems.
- Any standard browser (with no ad blockers active) is required for logging in* via Discord, Twitch, Google, Apple, or email accounts.
*Note: these are the most common login issues.
- Speakers and a microphone. Built-in, USB plug-in*, or wireless Bluetooth** devices with sample rates between 8kHz and 192kHz.
*Note for USB microphones: This type of microphones can present more complications than other types of microphones.
**Note for Bluetooth devices: These headsets may have compatibility issues more frequently than wired headsets.
- Microsoft Visual C++ 2019 Redistributables for Visual Studio & Microsoft .NET Framework 4.7.2 installed*.
*Note: These dependencies typically install automatically during Voicemod’s setup, but you can also install them separately if needed.
macOS Supported Devices
Voicemod for macOS is compatible only with macOS Monterey (12) and later versions. Your Mac’s processor must support AVX2 technology.
The following Apple devices can typically run macOS Monterey (or later) and should be able to use Voicemod for macOS:
- MacBook (2016 or newer)
- MacBook Air (2015 or newer)
- MacBook Pro (2015 or newer)
- Mac mini (2014 or newer)
- Mac Pro (2014 or newer)
- iMac (2015 or newer)
- iMac Pro (2017 or newer)
If your processor lacks AVX2 support, you will encounter this ⚠️Warning pop-up, it means that your macOS device is not compatible with Voicemod, either:
Unfortunately, there are no current plans to release Voicemod for earlier macOS versions or devices that lack AVX2.
