Can’t connect to Voicemod’s servers or finish signing in? Check service status, your app version, and your connection.
Before you change any settings
Open the Voicemod status page. If it reports a service issue, wait for an update there and try again afterward.
Check your app and connection
- Update Voicemod. Install the latest version, then fully close and reopen the app.
- Check your internet connection. Open another website. If possible, try a different network to see whether the issue is specific to your current connection.
- Check your network setup. If you use a VPN, proxy, or managed work or school network, confirm it allows Voicemod to connect. Contact your network administrator if you do not manage those settings.
- Restart your connection. If other sites also fail to load, restart your computer and router, then try Voicemod again.
Check Windows Defender Firewall
If the status page shows no issue and Voicemod is up to date, check whether Windows Defender Firewall allows the app:
- Open Control Panel → System and Security → Windows Defender Firewall.
- Select Allow an app or feature through Windows Defender Firewall, then Change settings.
- Find Voicemod in the list. If it appears once, make sure its checkbox is selected. Check the Public network box as described in the current Voicemod guide.
- If Voicemod is missing, select Allow another app. Add Voicemod from the list, or choose Browse and select
VoicemodDesktop.exeinC:\Program Files\Voicemod Desktop. - If Voicemod appears several times and the entries conflict, the original guide recommends resetting the firewall to its default settings, then adding Voicemod again. First record any custom rules you need to recreate. In Windows Defender Firewall, choose Restore defaults, confirm, and repeat the previous step.
If your antivirus software blocks Voicemod, follow the Voicemod firewall and antivirus guide for your security tool.
