This is how to setup Voicemod with Xbox Party:
- Voicemod has to be open in order to feed the virtual microphone so open Voicemod.
- Set Voicemod Virtual microphone as your default system microphone (Control Panel > Sound > Recording Tab > Set Voicemod Virtual microphone as the Default device)
- Open the XBOX PC party app.
It is important as well to make sure that "Noise Supression" is disabled on Xbox Game bar.
- Please disable the "Noise Suppression" toggle within the Xbox Game Bar sound settings:
This can cause some issues with Soundboard sounds and every non-human speech, fading or cutting it out.
If you still face this kind of problems even after disabling Noise Suppression, it is possible that the last Windows Update added the "Voice Focus" mode to your OS, this can cause issues with the Voicemod Microphone; please, make sure you disable it as indicated bellow:
- Navigate to Windows Settings > System > Sound > Properties.
- Check the Voice Focus toggle.
- Turn it OFF and try again!
