Integrating Voicemod with the Hercules Stream 200 XLR can significantly enhance your streaming and content creation setup!

Follow this guide to configure your device and fully utilize Voicemod's features!

Step 1: Preparation

1. Download and install Voicemod: Visit the official Voicemod website and download the latest version compatible with your operating system. Follow this installation guide if needed.​

2. Connect Hercules Stream 200 XLR: Plug your Hercules Stream 200 XLR into your computer using the provided USB cable. Ensure it's powered on.

3. Hercules Stream Control: Download and Install Hercules Stream Control.​

4. Launch Voicemod: Open Voicemod and complete any initial setup steps, such as selecting your preferred voice effects.​

Step 2: Connect and Configure Hercules Stream 200 XLR

1. Install Drivers: If prompted, install any necessary drivers.

2. Set Up Your Microphone:

   • Connect your XLR microphone to the XLR input on the Hercules Stream 200 XLR.
   • Adjust the gain, the audio channels and any other settings as needed using the Hercules Stream Control software.​

Step 3: Configure Voicemod with Hercules Stream 200 XLR

1. Open Voicemod Settings: Click on the settings icon (usually a gear icon) within the Voicemod application.​

2. Select Input Device:

   • Set the Microphone (Hercules Stream 200 XLR) as your input device in Voicemod.
     
     

3. Select Output Device:

   • Set any output audio channel as your output device, such as the Aux (Hercules Stream 200 XLR).
     ​

4. Test Your Setup: Use Voicemod's voice effects, select Hear Myself and speak into your microphone to ensure the effects are applied correctly.

5. Control your audio: Now you'll have your Audio Input (Microphone) and Output (Voicemod Sounds & Voicemod voice (only if Hear Myself is enabled)) directly on your Hercules display.

6. Add a Mute your microphone toggle button:

   • Select your Actions and choose Mute source or Push to mute button.
     
     

   • Drag and drop it to the desired key you want to use to activate:
     
     

   • Change key name and Icon and Select the source you want to Mute:
     

   • Remember to select it both in Creator and Audience Mixes:
     

   • Toggle to mute / unmute your mic input sound!
      

Step 4: Add Buttons to Change Voices or Play Sounds Using the Voicemod Plugin

Enhance your experience with the Voicemod Plugin for Hercules Stream 200 XLR by assigning dedicated buttons to change your voice or play sound effects instantly. Follow these steps to set up the buttons using the Hercules Stream Control software.

1. Activate the Voicemod Plugin

Before adding buttons, ensure the Voicemod plugin is active:

• • Navigate to the Plugins section.
    
  • Locate Voicemod Plugin and download it.
    
  • Enable it.
    
    
  • It should appear on your Hercules Stream Control main screen:
    
    

2. Add a Button to Change Your Voice

1. Open Voicemod section.
   
2. Drag the "Add a Voice" from the Voicemod Plugin options and drop it on your desired customizable button.
   
3. Choose the desired voice by filtering through:
   • Favorites: Quickly select from your pre-saved favorite voices.
   • Custom: Browse voices categorized in your Voicemod soundboards.
   • All voices.
     
4. Choose and confirm your selection and save the button assignment.
5. Click to select your voice in Voicemod!
   

3. Add a Button to Play a Sound Effect

1. Open Voicemod section.
   
2. Drag the "Add Sounds" from the Voicemod Plugin options and drop it on your desired customizable button.
   
3. Choose the desired voice by filtering through:
   • Favorites: Quickly select from your pre-saved favorite voices.
   • All sounds.
     • Filter by Soundboard.
       
4. Choose and confirm your selection and save the button assignment.
5. Click to reproduce your sound in Voicemod!
   

Step 5: Configure Streaming or Communication Software

To use Voicemod & Hercules with applications like OBS Studio, Streamlabs, Discord, or Zoom or any other app and game:

1. Open the Application's Audio Settings.

2. Set Input Device:

   • Choose Microphone (Voicemod Virtual Audio Device) as the input or microphone device.​

3. Set Output Device:

   • Choose any audio channel Chat / Game / Any audio channel (Hercules Stream 200 XLR) as the output or speaker device.​

4. Test Audio: Speak into your microphone to confirm that Voicemod's effects are transmitted through the application.​

If you encounter any issues, try the following:

• Restart Devices: Sometimes, a simple restart can resolve connectivity issues.
• Check Connections: Ensure all cables are securely connected.
